I’ve learned through the years that the industrial design of a product in development can have an impact on the success or failure of the product launch. Nectar’s unique approach to industrial design emphasizes design concepts for manufacturability as well as human factors for ease of use, which are key factors for a successful launch.
As a start-up it is not easy to find the right partners.The team at Nectar exceeded our expectations for engineering, design, and R&D and helped Smardii with a very successful showing at the largest consumer electronics show on the planet, CES 2020.
For the past 5 years, Nectar Product Development has welcomed our CSULB Industrial Design students on an annual field trip to their office to see their creative space, learn about the industry, and learn their Product Development process. This has been an invaluable experience for our students and for many of them, it has been the first time they’ve set foot into a real consultancy. I can’t thank them enough for the time and energy they’ve put into supporting our CSULB students!
